My name is Colleen. I’m a writer. The wordshop is my baby. A place to meet other writers and learn from each other.
One question leads my continuing journey: What makes a story work?
For me, early drafts are both a gift and a puzzle. So many shining little moments of opportunity, true brilliance and narrative challenges. The gifts I cherish and encourage. The puzzles are my jam.
The kernel of a story exists within the author. My role is to help them to find it, nurture it, build on it.
Let’s find your spark.
